Mmmm, Peaches!

So, we got word last week that we'll be relocating to Georgia in time for Christmas. Mike was promoted to a management position (yay!) and being that 6 of his 8 associates are in the GA office it was decided that he should be there and not back at the FL office. It was a long time coming because his interview was back in August! Good things come to those who wait I suppose! So, we'll be traveling down to the Macon GA area on November 16th to look at a handful of houses to rent while we get ready to put our FL house up for sale. My doctor suggested that we make the move prior to the first of the year because at that point I'll be 30 weeks pregnant. This should hopefully buy me 5 to 8 weeks of time to get settled in the new area before delivering the babies. Thankfully I've had a very healthy pregnancy so there is nothing to worry about with the move. Geico will be taking great care of us so we won't have to pack or move a thing. It's a bitter sweet thought to leave the DC area even though we knew we were only going to be here for 2 years. We've made some wonderful friends here and have thoroughly enjoyed all the things to see and do in the area. We've been spoiled! However, we're looking forward to our new adventures in Georgia and all the new exciting changes that are in store for us!
