We love being passholders to Mt. Vernon. It's just such a scenic, peaceful and history rich piece of property. The museums are fantastic and walking the grounds is really relaxing. It's fun to tour the house and see the exact bed that George and Martha slept in (also the bed where George died) and to see his study with the exact leather chair that he sat in to govern the country. I always find myself thinking "Did George stand exactly in this spot to gaze out on the Potomac? Is Jillian playing in the same exact dirt that George's children played in?"

It was THIS exciting!
