Our favorite part about the Summer was taking Jillian to the pool to cool off and to just enjoy watching her play in the water. At the beginning of the Summer she was able to walk in, splash around, swim in her swim-sweater and blow bubbles. By the end of the summer she was going under, jumping in and swimming a stroke or two with her face in. She also liked diving around doing belly flops in the shallow area. We were so proud of her accomplishments--especially for just turning 2! Here are a couple of fun videos of her in the pool:

I am so impressed!! Jude had to teach Christian to put his face under water (while in the bath). That's as close as he gets to swimming! He just suddenly was so afraid of the water. I think he's just at an age where he's starting to fear things. I wish you were here to help teach him! Wow! Go, Jillian!
