Day trip to visit our friends:
We took a nice drive through the country to meet up with our friend Nick Merritt from school (Nick and I went to elementary school together.) He and his wife Jennifer and their daughter Marianna live in a beautiful home in Fletcher VT (complete with an awesome sugaring house) and the most amazing view of Smuggler's Notch. Marianna is about a year younger than Jillian and the girls played so well together. Unfortunately, we forgot to take photos of them! We enjoyed a great BBQ lunch before heading over "the Notch" for a scenic ride home--thanks to Nick's suggestion. The views were amazing and the twists and turns were really fun!

I love all of your vacation photos! It sounds like you guys had a blast. It must have been so nice to get all of the cousins together. I love the picture of the Stowe resort. Thanks for thinking of us. Hope you are all settling back in.
