Wow!

We took Jillian to watch the airplanes land at the Reagan National Airport in DC this weekend (there's a great park at the end of the runway that Grandma and Grandpa M brought us to before Jillian was born.) She's been noticing planes here at the house, pointing them out while we're at the park and anytime while outside. When she saw the planes taxiing on the runaway after landing she called it a "choo-choo." I don't blame her, she's seen the metro trains several times and I guess the airplane on the ground looked just like a train--you know, a long shiney metal thing. Since she had only seen planes in the air she was a little confused I guess. However, she LOVED watching them take off over our heads and even said "WOW!" It was a fun day! Maybe this excitement for planes will lead Jillian to Embry Riddle just like her daddy? We better start saving NOW!

In this video she says "WOW!" (sorry about it being sideways)

In this video she's more excited about the sailboat and says "boat!"
