National Zoo

We've begun our day trips back to the zoo now that it's warmer weather! Jillian absolutely loves it, plus with all the walking between the metro and throughout the hilly zoo we're both exhausted for a good nap in the afternoon! It takes about 40 minutes to get there, door to door on the metro, and we always seem to get there right AFTER the elephants get their daily bath. So, one of these days I'm going to try to get our butts up and out earlier so that we can see the elephants getting hosed down!
