Merry Christmas!

We had a fantastic Christmas this year with Jillian and the boys. This was the first year that Jillian really got in the spirit of all the holiday magic. We visited with Santa three times...all three kids loved him! We had Christmas morning at home and then went to FL to spend time with both sets of Grandparents, including Great Grandma Irene. It was a great fun filled month of December!

Happy Fall!

We are enjoying our new freedom from the heat and from the newborn phase. Now that the boys are bigger, and the weather isn't so hot, we've been able to take advantage of outdoor activities and a little more traveling. One of the best parts of moving to a new area is discovering all the fun things that the locals do. When we were in DC we were able to see and do a lot of great things, and so we're hoping to do the same while we're here in GA.

Matthew and William are growing like weeds; very close to crawling! They are just about 8 months old now (on Nov.1st) and they are both saying "Da Da." We were hoping for them to say "Da Da" first because Jillian said "Mom-Mom" before she said any version of "Daddy." It's be so much fun to see Jillian and her brothers play together. They laugh at each other and light up the room whenever they interact. Jillian has been the best big sister and seems to thoroughly enjoy her role! I'm amazed at how easily the boys will giggle with her; it's so much fun!

The Rock Ranch

We spent a day at The Rock Ranch in The Rock, GA. It's an "Agritourism" ranch that is owned by the Chick Fil A owner here in GA. We had a wonderful time! This was the first family outing that we did with just the 5 of us for an entire day. The town of "The Rock" is about an hour from here and is in the middle of nowhere. It was quite a quiet and scenic ride out there. Every fall they have their fall family fun days only on Saturdays and the rest of the year they are only open for private events. So, we made sure to visit on the "Hot Air Balloon Rally" event day. The balloons were so beautiful! Jillian and Mike got to take a tethered ride up in one of the balloons that night. For only $15! They both raved out it! Matthew and William certainly enjoyed all the new scenery; next year they will have even more fun as they join Jillian in all the activities. :-)
